他贏了
但他一點都不感到興奮
所有的歡呼與鼓掌都來自活人
很少，甚至沒有，來自死人

因此他下令調查
究竟有多少死人在偷偷地活著
多少活人在明目張膽地装死

附注：因沒得到多數選票，美國川普總統下令調查用已去世的選民之名投票的真相。


A SORE WINNER

he won
yet he is not satisfied
all the cheering and hailing came from the living
but few, if any, from the dead

so he vows to investigate
how many dead people are really dead
and how many living people pretend to be living

This poem was obviously written about Trump, who has called for a voter fraud investigation. It is an old and common meme in election fraud accusations that the dead are registered to vote. This comes from a long time ago when this happened in certain cities like Chicago – dead people were registered, and voted! So, Trump, not believing that he lost the popular vote wants to investigate if the voters who voted against him were really alive, and while he is at it, whether he finds that opposing voters who are alive might really be dead. In any case, the point the poet makes is that Trump cannot believe that anyone, dead or alive (or pretending to be alive) could actually have voted against him.Trump wants homage, and loyalty from everyone, and cannot accept that he is opposed.
