Only one change is necessary for this poem: “behind screens” makes much more sense in this poem than “between screens”.

A nice poem about integrity and recognition of character – at least that is what I took from it! Like all good poems, one can take more than one meaning from it. As I read it, I was reminded of I Corinthians 13, verse 12, as Paul writes:

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

This poem is about knowing someone, and being known fully, versus in part.
